How you will make an impact as a Staff Accountant:
Perform monthly closing procedures, including preparation journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Administer the expense reporting and recording process for employee reimbursable and credit card expenses
Review and provide insight on monthly financial results to assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, including variances from budget and forecast
Assist with annual financial audit preparation
What we're looking for in a Staff Accountant:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years’ experience in accounting
Understanding of GAAP principles
Advanced Excel skills, including ability to create pivot tables, macros, and use of other advanced functions
High attention to detail, solid critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently to assess available information, draw conclusions and understandings, and present such conclusions effectively
Solid organization skills and the ability to prioritize and stay focused on assigned priorities, work independently to meet internal and external deadlines, and produce a consistently high-quality product
