The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for the daily execution of the organization's established accounting processes.
Coordinates and supervises personnel within the Accounting Department with the goal of timely and accurate financial reporting.
This role needs to communicate well with all levels of the organization.
Must be able to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (Depending on Experience)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and reconciliation of a variety of accounts:
Participate in the Month-End and Year-End closing process.
Complete assigned reconciliations timely and accurately ensuring exceptions are investigated and properly handled
Complete detailed monthly Financial Statement Reviews.
Investigating and handling variances.
Identify and reconcile issues as identified with a sense of urgency
Gather information and contribute to the successful completion of annual audit and other audits as needed
Assign balance sheet accounts to staff and monitor the reconciliation process
General responsibilities:
Review and approve daily payments
Review and approve manual journal entries
Document staff’s procedures and continuous process improvement
Supervision of the Accounting staff:
Partner with the Manager of General Accounting and Talent Acquisition to hire, develop and retain talent
Provide daily supervision and direction to ensure cash processing, reconciliations and reporting functions are completed in a timely and accurate manner while in compliance with policies and regulations
All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
Masters degree, CPA, or similar designations are not required but are preferred.
Experience and/or Training: A minimum of 5 years experience in processing, reviewing and analysis of general ledger accounts.
Advanced Excel skills.
