Dynamic, growing, local firm in Waukesha, WI seeking a staff (or senior) accountant (primarily audit, but tax is available) for a full-time position.

Qualifications
* An undergraduate degree in accounting – CPA Candidate preferred
* The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries
* The ability to respond to client and firm requests in a timely, accurate, positive, and professional manner
* Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration skills
* Integrity within a professional environment
* Eagerness and willingness to be trained by experienced associates
* QuickBooks experience preferred
Responsibilities & Opportunities
* Assist with audit workpapers and field work under appropriate supervision
* Prepare, review, and management of federal and state income taxes for individuals, businesses, and exempt organizations
* Recommend tax strategies by researching federal, state, and local taxation issues
* Maintain compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities
* Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
* Be willing to accept other duties to assist the firm as assigned
