*Reports to:* Controller
*Responsibilities:*
* Creating sales orders and invoices for all customers based on verification of product shipment
* Receiving vendor invoices, matching to purchase orders, verifying authorization to pay and processing for timely payment
* Perform A/R Collections, as needed
* Maintain accurate customer and vendor databases, including the retrieval of appropriate paperwork for initial setup
* Assist with research and implementation of accounting software
* Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
* Establish credit card reconciliation processes, including receipts, coding, and posting
* Provide suggestions to any accounting inefficiencies
*Roles/Relationships:*
* Candidate must have the proven ability to effectively interact, communicate and consult with multiple levels of management on a routine basis
* Assists with other projects as needed.
*Specifications/Requirements:*
* Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounting experience.
Candidates with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting are encouraged to apply, but it is not mandatory.
* Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness required.
* Demonstrate discipline and strong attention to detail as well as strong analytical, problem solving, organizational skills, and basic knowledge of accounting principles.
* Excellent ability to build positive professional relationships with others.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to better interact with colleagues and customers.
* Knowledge of MS Office and QuickBooks is needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
00 - $55,000.
