Responsibilities:
* *Financial Leadership:*
* Provide financial leadership and collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
* Analyze financial data and trends to advise on potential risks and opportunities.
* *Financial Reporting:*
* Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
* Present financial reports to executive leadership, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
* *Budgeting and Forecasting:*
* Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.
* Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
* *Internal Controls:*
* Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular internal audits to identify and rectify financial discrepancies.
* *Tax Compliance:*
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, coordinating with external tax advisors as needed.
* Optimize tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liability.
* *Cash Flow Management:*
* Manage cash flow by forecasting cash needs and optimizing working capital.
* Implement strategies to improve cash flow efficiency.
* *Team Management:*
* Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
* *ERP System Oversight:*
* Oversee the efficient functioning of the ERP system, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements as needed.
* Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration and data accuracy.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
* years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
* Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in financial modeling and analysis.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience with ERP systems; [specific system knowledge] is a plus.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
