Job Summary:
Broan is looking for a financial analyst who is interested in being an instrument of change on a high-impact team.
This position will work with and receive guidance from senior level accountants and financial analysts within the organization and is ideal for someone looking to grow and advance in their career.
This individual will be a business partner with the Director of Sourcing and VP of Supply Chain.
This is a hybrid role requiring some work onsite at our Hartford, WI location.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform month-end and quarter-end closing procedures, such as preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and disclosure support.
Prepare month-end operating expense variance reports for departments across supply chain teams.
Daily / weekly cost maintenance, working with engineering, logistics, and your finance counterparts to set standards on any new inventory items timely.
Assist in the development of PowerBI dashboards showing performance for purchasing teams and logistics.
Business Forecasting – Develop and maintain material forecasting process in partnership with sourcing.
Develop strong working relationships with purchasing and supply chain partners to effectively carry out responsibilities.
Identify and execute continuous improvement activities.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
2+ years of accounting/finance experience
CPA or CMA not a requirement, but a plus
High proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office products required.
Power BI, and other query & data tools experience a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work through ambiguity, take initiative, and navigate challenges and obstacles.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
