Senior Accountant

Edgeless Beauty Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in our day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes.
You will also contribute to the management of the general ledger, handle sales and use tax filings, oversee payroll and tax filings, and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Essential Job Functions: Assist in conducting and support various accounting and finance functions.
Assist in lead month-end closing activities, including the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, inventory adjustments, tuition revenue recognition, cash flow analysis, and account and variance reconciliations.
Assist with payroll processing, payroll tax payments, and payroll tax filings.
Collaborate with senior managers to implement cost control strategies and monitor their progress.
Engage in creating, analyzing, and presenting strategic financial planning.
Take the lead in coordinating and participating in various audits, including financial, 401(k), and Worker's Compensation audits.
Participate and monitor budgets and forecasts.
Stay current with accounting standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
Plan and analyze annual compensation increases and changes to compensation plans.
Formulate the company's benefits strategies and oversee the implementation of insurance benefits (health, dental, life, 401K, etc.
).
Utilize Edgeless Beauty Group's core values to guide the accounting department in supporting team member development.
Required Technical Skills, Education, Experience, Training, and/or Credentials: To excel in this role, the team member must demonstrate proficiency in each essential duty.
The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a similar accounting position with management responsibilities.
Experience in product distribution, warehouse inventory, or related industries is beneficial.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to perform financial planning and analysis.
Experience in data analysis to inform strategic financial decisions.
Ability to create a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork.
