*Primary Responsibilities* *Payroll Responsibilities:* 1.
Prepares and processes bi-weekly payroll utilizing HR management system (ADP Workforce Now).
Includes transferring time and attendance, labor data, payroll reports, and filing time reports.
2.
Submits 401(k) employee contributions and auto-enroll files bi-weekly.
Assist in testing and submitting information for compliance purposes.
3.
Maintains employee HRIS system for new and existing employees.
Assist and process changes relating to pay rates, deductions, paid time off allowances, garnishments, bonuses & commission, and other payroll related requests.
4.
Responds to notifications from state agencies regarding unemployment claims filed by former employees.
5.
Creates and prepares payroll and employee information reports as needed.
6.
Providing outstanding customer support to all parties.
*Benefits Responsibilities:* 1.
Advising and enrolling new employees into Company’s benefits programs as applicable.
Advises employees regarding benefit inquiries, issues and coverage, escalate as needed.
2.
Supports and processes annual open enrollment benefit plan transfers.
Supports coordination of education programs for all Company locations.
3.
Prepares materials and assists with benefit plan presentations.
4.
Maintains compliance with Company benefit programs including COBRA, qualified events, etc.
*Human Resources Responsibilities* 1.
Support assigned region in all Human Resources activities.
2.
Support and advise area with talent acquisition activities.
3.
Provide outstanding customer service *Qualification Requirements* • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and utilize high degree of sensitivity and discretion.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from company employees, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to present and communicate information to groups of various sizes.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Enthusiastic, customer service-minded, creative, and takes initiative to resolve issues in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task when interruptions are routine and frequent.
*Education/Experience* • Bachelor’s degree (B.
A.
) from four-year college or university • 2+ years multi-state payroll & benefit experience with at least 300+ employees • Experience using a Human Resources software management system (i.
e.
ADP Workforce Now), experience with reporting, benefits enrollment and administration.
• Outstanding Customer Service, self-directed, team player with the ability to multi-task.
