is a locally owned mechanical contractor that operates in Southeast Wisconsin specializing in the design, fabrication, installation and servicing of commercial HVAC, industrial process, plumbing, electrical and fire protection systems.

Total Mechanical was founded in 1968 and is comprised of eight business units; Commercial HVAC Division, Electrical Division, Plumbing Division, Fire Protection Division, Environmental Services Division, TOTAL Residential, AGI Fabricators and E3 Group and with three locations in Pewaukee, Milwaukee and Janesville.
As a *Billing Coordinator/Payroll Coordinator* duel role some of the tasks you will perform in this role are:
* Monthly billing of various contract types
* Create and post contract invoices, AIA forms and Lien Waivers
* Review of job documents to confirm billing is in accordance with contract and with Company guidelines
* Job data entry and change order entry
* Prepare waivers, affidavits, and other documents required for release of payment.
* Maintain employee records for pay and benefits for multiple bargaining unit employees.
Process all payroll changes, salary adjustments, garnishments, deductions and benefits in a timely manner.
* Processes payroll for multiple bargaining unit employees based on approved timecards by 11:00 am on Tuesdays.
Check jurisdictions for multiple bargaining unit employees to ensure proper pay when working outside their jurisdictions.
Detect and obtain all necessary approvals for discrepancies from contracts.
Maintain all payroll records in an organized, secure manner.
Calculate and make payroll tax payments and other employee deferral arrangements in accordance with government regulations.
* Track and submit documentation for reimbursement on educational expenses.
Track and maintain hours of work for apprenticeship level changes.
Complete and submit all wage reports including certified payrolls.
Submit progress and evaluation reports to applicable bargaining units.
Prepare labor pricing reports for bids upon request.
* Reconcile all payroll related accounts on a monthly basis.
Prepare year end reconciliation documentation for audit.
* Set up payable accounts for all new employees.
Process multiple bargaining unit employee expenses with proper documentation.
Calculate union benefits, prepare union benefit reports and make monthly union benefit payments to multiple unions.
Process garnishment and child support checks for both office and field employees.
You will bring to the position:
* *Education: *The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or GED.
* *Years of Relevant Work Experience: *3-5 years payroll processing experience required.
Experience with union payroll preferred
* *Physical Job Requirements:* Required to sit, stand and move throughout company facilities.
* *Technical Skills*: This position requires proficiency with general office and accounting software (Excel and Spectrum are preferred); knowledge of general financial terms, concepts and calculations.
