ACCOUNTANT

Accountant M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Lutheran Home & Harwood Place is recruiting for a talented Accountant to join its Finance team.
This full-time position, which has its own office, is responsible for assisting with relatively complex functions across accounting, payroll, and internal/external reporting.
Candidates must have the ability to rely on personal experience and sound judgment to ensure the integrity of the organization.
Candidates must be capable of supporting an environment of continuous change while being part of a team to ensure the success of the organization, anticipate future needs, and value our mission.
Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills are required to be successful in this role.
Specific responsibilities include: Prepare accounting entries Maintain fixed assets records Reconcile general ledger accounts Assist with monthly and annual financial closings Assist with annual audit, tax and cost reports Assist with annual budgeting process Work with HR on bi-weekly payroll process Required skills: Baccalaureate degree in accounting, business administration or related field Two or more years of accounting experience, preferably from industry related to health-care Capable of building and maintaining positive relationships in a team-oriented work environment For consideration, please send an updated resume to this post along with any additional information/comments you may have.
