Job Summary
This position provides financial guidance, direction, and analytical support for new product development and engineering departments within Harley-Davidson.
It will coordinate the development expense and capital budgets and forecasts for assigned area.
This position provides comprehensive financial support for assigned departments including, but not limited to, monthly performance reports, financial analysis, new product business case development, and recommendations for corrective actions when needed.
This position participates in special projects as required.
Job Responsibilities
• Guides and partners with business partners in aspects of financial decision making and budget management
• Provides business analysis and modeling with emphasis in understanding the supported business
• Coordinates the development and tracking of project budgets, forecasts and actuals
• Provides monthly financial support to the business: Record month end journal entries/accruals; Assure all expenses are recorded in the month incurred; and Analyze spending variances
• Forecasts returns (IRR & NPV) for proposed motorcycle and/or parts & accessory projects
• Participate in special projects as needed
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Required
Education Specifications
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
A CPA or equivalent is preferred.
Experience Requirements
Typically requires a minimum of 3 year of related work and/or public accounting experience.
• Demonstrated competency in the use of spreadsheets and accounting systems for the purpose of analysis and financial modeling.
• Strong interpersonal skills and skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management.
• Self-motivated and a self-starter continuously looking for process improvements.
• Strong attention to detail while maintaining the broader, analytical perspective.
• Excellent organizational skills – ability to balance multiple tasks under time constraints.
• SAP and PowerBI experience preferred.

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role.
Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
