The team developing industry leading CT scanners is looking for highly motivated software engineers to join them to develop the next generation of CT scanners.
You will be working on CT scan data acquisition and image reconstruction using state-of-the-art compute and software platforms.
Job Description
In this role you will:
Serve as a technical lead for a feature set in CT Scan Data Acquisition subsystem providing scalable High Performance Computing software platform solutions.
Work cross functionally with other teams and contribute to design discussions.
Take ownership of tasks and deliver quality software solutions, while helping team members through programming and code reviews
Understand whole product functionality, its pieces, and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the owned feature set
Drive design reviews, define interfaces between code modules, and continuously seek to improve designs with new technology
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in Computer Engineering
Expertise in OOP, design patterns, C++, Python
Experience in IPC, Networking, Microservices, SOA, Containers, REST APIs
Solid grasp of Linux system architecture with proficiency in command line tools, troubleshooting etc.
Ability to apply SDLC and Lean methodologies to deliver high quality software modules
Strong problem-solving abilities
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development
Desired Characteristics
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Proficient in problem-solving and able to effectively communicate complex technical topics or tasks.
Demonstrates clear thinking to navigate through incomplete information and vague problem definitions.
Influences others and garners both direct and indirect support for ideas
Proactively identifies and resolves project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team.
This role will be hybrid onsite (3 days a week) in Waukesha, WI
