Create software which efficiently conveys to utility engineers the condition information on their high voltage electrical equipment, allowing them to maintain grid reliability, reduce cost, and increase capacity.
Intern Responsibilities
As an Intern you will support our Development Engineering team who design Dynamic Ratings’ equipment and solutions.
Some responsibilities include:
Software Development – Assist in writing code for PC and web-based products.
Code may consist of C#, C++, C or Java Script.
Software Testing - Participate as a member of the development team to test microcontroller and web-based software products.
Software Documentation – Assist in writing user documentation/manuals for software-based products.
Intern Requirements
The ideal candidate will enjoy a team environment and be flexible enough to work independently where needed.
Additional job requirements include:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
Programming coursework in C, C#, Java Script.
Ability to quickly learn other programming languages.
Working knowledge of software installation process.
Some background in testing software is ideal.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Position is onsite in Sussex, WI; relocation is not available.
