We are seeking an individual who will play an integral role in the Front Office Department by direct supervision of the front desk hotel staff.
The ideal candidate will ensure a high degree of quality and service for guests and assist with supervision of Hotel Operations when necessary.

Responsibilities include:
Assist with recruiting, selecting and retaining a quality front desk staff.
Perform training of front desk staff on Hotel policies, practices and procedures.
Promote harmonious associate relations through effective supervisory practices.
Assist with performance reviews, disciplinary actions and discharge of front desk associates.
Schedule front desk associates to ensure acceptable coverage and maintain payroll within guidelines.
Ensure high levels of quality and service in front desk area.
Receive and resolve guest complaints within assigned authority.
Operate front desk to include greeting guests, performing guest transactions, operating the front office system, answering the phone and ordering front desk supplies.
Responsible for reservations, registration and special arrangements for groups.
Review clerk logbook and shift reports daily.
Participate in or supervise the implementation of promotional campaigns.
Process daily and end-of-period reports.
Review guest ledger and accounts receivable accounts daily for accuracy, proper authorization and proper identification.
Process payroll.
Assure current and accurate accounting, including cash drawer, bank deposit and change, checks, accounts receivable, advance deposits, credit cards and petty cash.
Inform Director of Front Office Operations of all safety and security concerns of property, guests and associates, including OSHA, General Liability and Workers' Compensation cases.
Perform all other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Previous Hotel front desk experience required.
High School Diploma required.
Effective leadership skills.
Efficient verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to use office and front desk equipment.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Must have flexible work schedule and work as required.
Represent company in a professional manner.
Must have valid driver's license and personal transportation
