POSITION SUMMARY: Bruce Guadalupe Community School is seeking teachers for our Summer School Programs.
Bruce Guadalupe’s summer school session is June 17 – July 18, 2024, Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.
m.
-12:30 PM.
These positions require the ability to work independently, provide structure in the classroom, and work with children at various educational levels
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The teacher ensures effective teaching and learning of the assigned subject(s) following approved curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices.
The teacher creates, communicates, and maintains classroom management practices that effectively engage students in the learning process.
Must maintain and provide reasonable student grading and evaluation consistent with school policy and be able to effectively communicate such information to students and parents.
Ensures student safety in the classroom and during activities done outside of the classroom.
Must work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and others as appropriate, in addressing the needs of students.
Performs other duties as assigned

Demonstrates computer knowledge, and basic knowledge of excel, word, and Google forms.

Must possess the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified or certifiable by the Wisconsin Department of Instruction.
Individuals must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Working Conditions:
This position is in an office environment where the noise level can be low to moderate.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk up and down stairs.
This may include lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
