The School District of West Allis-West Milwaukee is currently seeking a Leadership & Learning Specialist.
This is a 12-month, At Will position.
This position is eligible for the District benefits for At Will staff and has a competitive salary.
Position Summary: The Leadership & Learning Specialist supports all programmatic and day-to-day operations of the Leadership & Learning Department.
The Specialist will work closely with the Director of Leadership & Learning to support implementation of professional development, curriculum & instruction, and department programming.
They will also complete state reporting for coursework completion and Mutlilingual Learners, transcription of courses, and data review.
Essential Job Functions: Support programmatic and day-to-day operations of the Leadership & Learning Department Assist with the planning, scheduling, and coordination for professional development Support the Leadership & Learning team in implementing curriculum and support student services programs for all schools Manage grant purchases, conference registration, and travel for the Leadership & Learning Department Purchasing materials for schools as approved by the Administrative Team and within the guidelines laid out by the West Allis-West Milwaukee Business Office Recity P-Cards Work with the Technology Department to ensure all State reporting for courses are set correctly in Skyward and manage all Skyward entries for courses Monitor enrollment for students identified as Multilingual Learners in Skyward and notify the State for Access testing and accounting purposes Assist with the ESSA audit Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Leadership & Learning.
Qualifications: A high school diploma is required.
Some college is preferred.
Ability to work productively both as a member of a team and independently.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrates a commitment to West Allis-West Milwaukee’s Equity Beliefs and educational equity.
Google proficiency is needed.
Experience in Skyward is beneficial, but training will also be provided.
