Head Varsity Boys Golf Coach

This position is an after-school position.
The work schedule is generally from 2:45PM – 6:00PM, depending on the game schedule.
Job responsibilities include organizing and conducting team practices, game supervision, and other tasks assigned.
This position reports directly to the head coach, athletic director and high school principal.
Season runs from March 25 through June 4, 2024.
- Provide golf coaching and instruction to individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels - Develop and implement training programs to improve golf skills and techniques - Teach proper golf etiquette, rules, and safety precautions - Plan and organize practice sessions and drills to enhance players' performance - Evaluate players' abilities and provide feedback for improvement - Coordinate and participate in golf tournaments, competitions, and events - Maintain equipment and ensure a safe and clean practice area - Previous experience as a golf coach or instructor preferred - Strong knowledge of golf techniques, rules, and strategies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work with individuals of all ages and skill levels - Patience and ability to motivate and inspire players - CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Skills: - Sports coaching: Ability to effectively coach individuals or groups in various sports activities.
- Childcare: Experience in supervising children's activities and ensuring their safety.
- Behavior management: Ability to manage behavior issues effectively in a positive manner.
