*Job Purpose* The warehouse operations manager will oversee and facilitate the receiving, handling, storing, picking, packing, and shipping activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn while managing warehouse employees.
*Measures of Success* Achieving daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, which include on-time and accurate fulfillment and inventory, labor efficiency, operating below defect thresholds, and compliance excellence.
*Duties and Responsibilities* * Oversee operational efficiency to ensure smooth and effective business processes.
* Execute all warehouse and fulfillment tasks related to onsite operations, including receiving, order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping duties * Coach and guide the work of warehouse members, ensuring a high level of performance and productivity.
* Oversee the adherence of the inventory and fulfillment team to compliance measures as outlined by the local and federal agencies.
* Serve as the on-site contact for local agencies and vendors * Implement and maintain cleanliness and safety measures.
Ensure that the facility remains clean and safe on a daily basis.
This includes ensuring that safety walks are being executed on a daily basis.
* Support in hiring and training for the local operation, helping to ensure a well-qualified and capable team.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with development, marketing, sales, and support teams to identify and solve problems.
Work towards optimal integration of these functions.
* Manage inventory control processes, including cycle and full counts, intake, menu curation, organization, and purchase order creation.
* Foster an environment of growth and development for every role, promoting continuous learning and improvement as the on-site staff grows.
* Efficiently work with technologies to maintain and improve operations.
Be proactive in identifying opportunities for technological advancement.
Provide detailed requirements for new system features and improvements.
* Uphold and coach operations procedures, internal policy, regulation, and workplace safety standards.
Ensure a high level of understanding and adherence among all team members.
* Prioritize tasks and maintain organization in instances of change, demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach to management.
* Document, implement, and constantly refine SOPs that will continue to shape Nugg Club and its scalability.
Be a leader in operational best practices.
* Collaborate with the Curation Director to guarantee timely readiness of campaigns, bundles, and inventory for scheduled launch dates.
*Qualifications* * Bachelor degree or comparable work experience * 3+ years experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees with the ability to develop team dynamic, identify talent, and foster growth * Knowledge of cannabis or hemp industry and regulatory requirements is a plus * Team player that can execute all roles in the warehouse and support warehouse employees in tasks as needed * Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy * Ability to work with all levels of company staff * Operational excellence experience, such as Kaizen practices or Lean Six Sigma certification strongly preferred * Experience managing dedicated budget and inventory health * Start-up experience preferred * Warehouse experience with multiple technology platforms *Working Conditions* * Sitting, standing, lifting, and working at laptop/tablet continuously Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.
