Dispensary Manager

*Job Overview:* As the Dispensary Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our retail cannabis dispensary, with a strong emphasis on effective inventory management.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, optimizing inventory levels, and implementing efficient processes to support the dispensary's success.
*Responsibilities:* *Inventory Management:* * Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize product wastage.
* Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
* Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries.
* Monitor product shelf life and implement processes for proper rotation.
*Compliance:* * Stay abreast of local and state regulations related to cannabis inventory management.
* Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control to ensure compliance.
* Train and educate staff on compliance protocols and best practices.
*Staff Management:* * Recruit, train, and supervise dispensary staff with a focus on inventory-related tasks.
* Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and efficiency.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
*Sales and Customer Service:* * Work closely with budtenders to ensure they are well-informed about product availability and can provide accurate information to customers.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to align inventory levels with sales trends and promotional activities.
* Address customer inquiries and concerns related to inventory availability.
*Ordering and Supplier Relations:* * Manage relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure reliable product delivery.
* Place orders for inventory replenishment based on sales trends and product demand.
* Evaluate new products and suppliers to diversify and enhance the dispensary's product offerings.
*Data Analysis and Reporting:* * Utilize inventory management software to generate reports on sales, stock levels, and product performance.
* Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in inventory management.
* Provide regular reports to senior management on inventory-related metrics.
*Security and Loss Prevention:* * Collaborate with security personnel to implement measures for inventory security and loss prevention.
* Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions to address inventory shrinkage.
* Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard valuable inventory assets.
*Qualifications:* * Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail or dispensary setting.
* In-depth knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
*Position Hours:* Saturday, Monday, Tuesday (9:45am - 8:15pm) | Sunday (9:45am -5:15pm) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $42,642.
