Senegal (maybe?) Djembe.
13" diameter x 24" tall.
This djembe has a rare, bulbous nozzle, you don't see many of these around.
I thought it was a "Burkina" drum, but not really sure if I have that correct.
I had this drum a long time, as the shell needed attention.
It had some damage, which I repaired from the inside and then painted a graphic of Africa to "hide" the repair.
New head, rope and the rope that makes up the "cradle" (with the loops).
This is a big, heavy drum.
I left very short hair when I clipped the goatskin head, I believe it mellows the sound and it will slowly wear off when played.
