In Need of a Room ASAP (Milwaukee)

I'm a young woman in her late twenties looking for a room to rent in or around the Milwaukee area.
I am presently in an unsafe situation with my current roommate and am looking to move out immediately.
Due to this situation at home, I've been unable to keep up with work lately and am behind on my projects (I'm a freelance graphic designer with several long-term clients — again, due to the situation at home, I've been unable to keep up with my deadlines and have lost three of my clients recently).
I can pay something upfront but it likely won't be much until I receive my next paycheck.
I can offer to help around the house, too, I'm a great cook and I can help with cleaning.
I am not looking to trade 'services' or anything inappropriate — I feel the need to express this upfront as I know craigslist can be a little sketchy.
Please contact me with any questions/concerns and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can! Depending on how things are progressing at home, I may not be able to respond right away but I will respond today.
I do have one cat, she is quiet and stays in my room at our current place.
