Job Summary:
The Cabinetry Design & Sales Manager oversees the cabinetry design and sales activities for the company by analyzing sales and margin statistics, implementing sales and margin plans, and coaching the cabinetry designers and coordinators in promoting sales and profitability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.
Determine annual sales and gross profit plans for each cabinetry designer, develop and follow up on specific sales goals and task strategies to counsel their overall performance as well as with key customers and targeted prospects.
2.
Stay current with design trends, pricing updates with vendors, economic indicators, competitor pricing strategies.
Assist leadership in vendor/brand discussions.
3.
Establish and oversee standard sales processes for the team.
This includes closing packets, product margin benchmarks and quoting guidelines to ensure order accuracy, competitiveness with the market, profitability, and great customer experience.
4.
Maintain, recruit, and train cabinetry design personnel in terms of company policies, product knowledge, and sales education onboarding.
Develop work schedules and expense management in conjunction with the location GM, while assisting with any compensation, incentive or review discussions related to the team.
5.
Individually meet with cabinetry designers and coordinators on a monthly basis to counsel their overall performance respective to their goals and peers.
Review key customers and progress with targeted prospects.
Annually appraise their performance in conjunction with the location GM via formal review.
Daily counseling includes traveling to visit jobsites and customers.
6.
Manage issues that cabinetry designers need assistance with, such as issues that arise with vendors, customers, product quality, and shipping.
This includes A/R collection resolution.
7.
Review daily gross profit exception report as well as analyzing open orders for pipeline management related to your team.
8.
Develop the agenda for and lead monthly location sales huddles as well as quarterly all-location team meetings to drive motivation and direction for the cabinetry team.
9.
Hold regular meetings with key vendor representatives to review product lines, set service expectations, negotiate terms of sale and pricing multipliers.
10.
Monitor showroom locations (regularly scheduled visits to check in) ensuring each showroom is clean, organized, and up to date.
11.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, self-motivated, sense of pride and urgency, personable, well organized, and willing to cover for team member absences.
Requirements:
1.
Requires at least a Bachelors degree in a business/management field or sufficient industry experience.
2.
Must have successful previous experience in cabinetry design and sales, showing upward movement, as well as proven leadership skills in mentoring, coaching and people management.
3.
Must prove leadership abilities with strong motivation to encourage sales growth.
4.
Requires excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite as well as good oral and written communication skills to properly interact with co-workers, vendors, and customers.
5.
Requires travel to all showroom locations and customer jobsites/offices.
