*HOURS: *7:30 am – 5:00 pm M-F and 9a-1p rotating Saturday.
*Summary:* This position will wear many hats.
Customer Services is a top priority of Midwest Tile (MWT).
Our customer base is vast, ranging from fabricators, slab/stone consignment shops, tile retailers, architecture firms, design firms, contractors, builders, and the end user.
In addition, internal customers in the form of 9 other locations.
Learning MWT products is extremely important, as it is a key element in the day to day of store and company operations.
This position will help customers with material selections, assist in loading product for transfer to other locations, assist in loading and handling deliveries to customers, and unloading incoming material.
Basic office work is part of the day-to-day duties: answering the phone, checking/replying to emails, learning and working in the inventory program, taking payments, and shipping items as needed.
MWT handles stone slabs such as granite, marble, quartz, and more, sinks, tile, and tile installation materials and tools.
This is a great position for someone with retail background, construction or building/house material work history, or eager to learn, and work hard.
Being a team player and flexibility is needed.
We teach and train on our products to ensure amazing level of customer service is provided to our customers.
*Essential Responsibilities:*
* Provide selections for wholesale and retail customers of stone slabs, tile, sinks, grout, and tools
* Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures
* Administer shipping and receiving for all material, including tile and stone store transfers and orders
* Move materials and inventory from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
* Load and unload both inbound and outbound material
* Office duties such as answering phones, data entry, inventory, and processing payments
* Assisting with inventory, opening/closing of store procedures, fulfilling request from other MWT locations
* Verify tile, stone and specialty product inventory supply.
This includes making sure tagging and identifying material is done appropriately
* Manage store closing; including cash drawer, fleet vehicles and secure material
* Assist in moving slabs and general maintenance
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned to or as operational needs dictate
* Keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe for customers and employees
* Regular reliable attendance is an essential requirement for the job.

*Qualifications:*
* Possession of a diploma and one year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Reliable and dependable attendance is required
* Effectively prioritize workload and handle multiple projects at the same time
* Provide strong customer orientation
* Successfully communicate with internal and external customers in a team environment
* Proficient on computers
* Organized and detail minded
* Able to multitask and take direction from multiple people

* Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
* Minimum age of 18 years
