Carlson Tool & Manufacturing is seeking experienced 2nd Shift CNC Machinists to create a wide variety of precision components by programming and operating Mazak Lathes!

What you need to succeed:
• 3+ years of experience programming/operating CNC Lathe machines.
• Ability to program using Mazatrol is required.
• Ability to read and interpret part prints and technical drawings.
• Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to process precision parts from start to finish.
• Knowledge of Mastercam programming is a plus.

Responsibilities include:
• Set up, Program and Run CNC Lathes
• Inspect your own parts
• Maintain accurate inspection documentation using precision measuring instruments
• Perform multiple short run jobs with frequent changeovers and tool changes
• Maintain a safe working environment
