*Role Description*
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Criminal Defense Attorney, located in Milwaukee, WI.
The role will be focused on representing clients in a variety of criminal cases, including misdemeanor and felony charges.
Daily tasks will include legal research, drafting legal pleadings and motions, court appearances, meetings with clients, negotiation with prosecutors, and trial preparation.
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Law (J.
D.
) degree from an accredited law school
* Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin
* Preferred 1-3 years of experience as a criminal defense attorney, although new graduates with a strong academic record will be considered
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a high volume of cases
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
* A passion for criminal defense and a commitment to client advocacy and justice
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.
